JINSUI TOKI YUNOMI
Tokoname ware is one of Japan's six ancient kilns. This is a set of two teacups (60ml) by the potter "JINSUI," which has sublimated the traditional techniques of Tokoname ware into a modern and sophisticated interpretation of the teapot.
JINSUI, a pottery manufacturer in Tokoname City, Aichi Prefecture, has been in business since the Edo period. While utilizing the natural texture of red clay, its ware features a sophisticated, modern form and color not found in other Tokoname ware. The unique Ceramesh tea strainer is integrated into the body, eliminating any metallic odor and bringing out the tea's natural flavor. The airtight lid-rubbing technique also ensures the tea retains its aroma and temperature for a long time, making it an appealing design. Our store offers one of the largest and most extensive lineups of JINSUI teapots in Japan, perfect for a wide range of occasions, from everyday use to gifts. These teapots blend traditional beauty with a modern sensibility to enrich your daily tea time.

The more you use it, the smoother it becomes and the more it fits comfortably in your hand.
It is not colored and is made to preserve the natural texture, so the color will deepen and develop a richer flavor as you use it. Sudden temperature changes can cause cracks, so please avoid putting anything that is too cold or too hot in it.
