Tokoname ware is one of Japan's six ancient kilns. This is a set of two teacups (100ml) by JINSUI, a pottery maker that has elevated traditional techniques into a modern, sophisticated interpretation.

JINSUI, a pottery manufacturer in Tokoname City, Aichi Prefecture, has been in business since the Edo period. While utilizing the natural texture of red clay, its pottery features a sophisticated, modern form and color not found in other Tokoname ware. One of the appealing features of Tokoname ware is its highly airtight structure, which allows it to retain its aroma and temperature for a long time. You can experience the warm texture and mouthfeel of earthenware that cannot be found in porcelain.

Our store offers one of the largest and most diverse lineups of JINSUI products in Japan, offering a wide range of items for everyday use and as gifts. Our two-piece set is also recommended as a gift. These teacups blend traditional beauty with a modern sensibility to enrich your daily tea time.
