This beautifully sharp chef's knife was forged by Ikeda Takumi , the fifth generation of Yasuda Hamono, a traditional craftsman of Echizen Hamono.
A chef's knife with a long blade is a versatile knife that can be used to slice meat and fish as well as cut large vegetables.
The knife has a core of high-quality stainless steel "VG10" and a beautiful Damascus pattern created by layering multiple layers of different steel materials, and it combines sharpness, durability, and rust resistance.
The octagonal oak handle is coated with wiped lacquer, giving it a smooth grip that fits comfortably in your hand.
The flexible blade and light feel make cooking a pleasant experience.

[Precautions when using]
- Do not cut frozen foods or hard ingredients such as bones.
- Cut straight across without twisting.
- After use, avoid putting it in the dishwasher and wash it by hand with a mild detergent and wipe off any excess water.
- When storing for a long period of time, apply a thin layer of oil to the blade and prevent it from coming into contact with other metals.
- Avoid high temperatures and humidity to prevent rust.
