A beautifully balanced petty knife that combines refined sharpness with timeless Japanese craftsmanship, designed to elevate everyday cooking.

Hand-forged by Takumi Ikeda, fifth-generation craftsman of Yasuda Hamono, a renowned Echizen blade workshop, this elegant petty knife reflects the precision and artistry of traditional Echizen Hamono.

Its versatile 150 mm blade offers the perfect balance between control and functionality, making it ideal not only for peeling fruits and vegetables, but also for preparing meat, fish, and a wide range of everyday ingredients.

Crafted with a VG10 stainless steel core and layered Damascus steel, the blade delivers exceptional sharpness, durability, and rust resistance, while showcasing the flowing Damascus pattern unique to handcrafted Japanese knives.

The octagonal oak handle, finished with traditional wiped lacquer, fits naturally and securely in the hand, offering both comfort and stability during use.

Lightweight, precise, and effortlessly elegant, this knife is versatile enough to serve as both a specialist utility knife and a primary kitchen knife for daily cooking.
