A beautifully balanced petty knife designed for precision work and everyday use, crafted to be a lifelong companion in the kitchen.

Hand-forged by Takumi Ikeda, fifth-generation craftsman of Yasuda Hamono, a renowned Echizen blade workshop, this elegant and lightweight knife reflects the refined tradition of Echizen Hamono.

The compact 120 mm blade is ideal for peeling fruits and vegetables, decorative cutting, and other delicate preparation tasks.

Crafted with a VG10 stainless steel core and layered Damascus steel, the blade combines exceptional sharpness, durability, and rust resistance with a striking flowing pattern unique to handcrafted Japanese knives.

The octagonal oak handle, finished with traditional wiped lacquer, offers a comfortable grip and refined natural texture that fits naturally in the hand.

Lightweight, precise, and easy to control, this knife is equally suited for everyday cooking, detailed preparation work, and outdoor use such as camping.
