This beautifully sharp Santoku knife is made by Takumi Ikeda , the fifth generation of Yasuda Hamono, a traditional craftsman of Echizen Hamono.
As the name "Santoku" suggests, this is a versatile Japanese knife that can be used to cut a wide range of ingredients, including meat, fish, and vegetables.
The knife has a core made of high-quality stainless steel "VG10" and features a beautiful Damascus pattern made by layering different steel materials multiple times, and combines sharpness, durability, and rust resistance.
The easy-to-grip octagonal oak handle is finished with wiped lacquer, providing a high-quality grip that fits comfortably in your hand.
This is a functional and beautiful piece that will comfortably support your daily cooking.

[Precautions when using]
- Do not cut frozen foods or hard ingredients such as bones.
- Cut straight across without twisting.
- After use, avoid putting it in the dishwasher and wash it by hand with a mild detergent and wipe off any excess water.
- When storing for a long period of time, apply a thin layer of oil to the blade and prevent it from coming into contact with other metals.
- Avoid high temperatures and humidity to prevent rust.
